🫤 Is the deficit model better than the strength-based model? 🫤 The two serve different purposes, and we need both. We need to empower ourselves by recognizing our strengths and natural abilities. At the same time, as long as the world is built for neurotypical people, we need access to funding for research, medications, accommodations, and modifications.
