100 reactions · 5 comments | Nanday Parakeets are one of the over 500 invasive species in Florida. I doubt there is anyway to get rid of them and I also doubt most people would want to. They aren't as damaging to the ecosystem as say pythons. Nanday conure parakeets having a conversation this afternoon in Newbury Park. Mostly descendants of escaped or released cage birds, these parakeets now flourish in our temperate climate.
