Edgware bus station could be demolished as part of a major redevelopment – and Barnet Council is proposing to allocate £41.5 million of developer-collected infrastructure funds to help build an underground electric bus garage in its place. Campaigners say the funding could be seen as subsidising the developer, and they’ve raised safety concerns.
