The world-famous HMS Victory is undergoing a massive restoration and conservation programme. Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar is being stripped right back and having all rotten wood removed. I was recently lucky enough to get hold of some reclaimed oak from the HMS Victory restoration. There's a bit of it floating around at the moment (no pun intended), but that's not going to last long so I've bought what I can to turn.
