Apple recently introduced a new AirDrop safety feature! It’s called AirDrop codes and what it does is that a one-time, secure verification step is added, that lets you share files with someone who isn’t in your contacts. This allows you to share without opening AirDrop to everyone nearby. Both devices will see each other for 30 days in AirDrop and no new code is needed in that period!
