Catfish angling is growing in popularity, and now there are more to catch in the metro. DNR’s Fishing in the Neighborhood staff have been harvesting channel catfish from Horseshoe Chain of Lakes near Cold Spring to stock in ponds in the Twin Cities including Silver (West), Thompson and Island lakes in the east metro, and Loring and Riverpoint lakes in the west metro.
