GHOST NOTES 👉 Here are two things I always teach my students to set them up for ghost note success. 💪 ✅ 1. Keep your "resting position" close to the snare drum. You can't play ghost notes properly if there's too much travel distance. After hitting a snare accent, focus on controlling the rebound and then "hovering" just an inch or so above the snare drum. This will allow you to drop your wrist for a quick ghost note or two, without first having to move your hand and slamming the brakes. 💪 ✅ 2
