Grieving parents that are still alive is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Coming to terms with who they are, what they’ve done to me, my siblings, and others, has been difficult. I never realized just how much of my childhood I couldn’t remember until it all blew up one day and everything crashed. It makes me furious when I see kids (adults too) who take advantage of having good, loving, solid parents. Don’t take that for granted. Go visit them. Go tell them you love them. #grief #griev
