Robots don’t “see” colors like humans, but they can differentiate them using infrared (IR) sensors. Here’s how it works: Different colors absorb and reflect infrared light differently. Darker colors absorb more IR light, while lighter colors reflect more. The sensor measures the intensity of reflected infrared light to determine the object’s color.
