Some schools use a traditional 4.0 scale, while others use weighted GPAs for honors, AP, IB, or advanced classes that can push students above a 4.0… sometimes even to a 5.0 or higher. Some students online are even claiming GPAs as high as 7.0. We also discuss academic honors like valedictorian and salutatorian, what those titles mean, and how schools rank students
