UPDATE: CHP confirmed the 5 Freeway was reopened in both directions around 8:45 p.m. ---- Drivers were stranded on the 5 Freeway on Saturday night after a natural gas leak in Castaic left all northbound and southbound lanes shut down. The gas has since been shut off, but a shelter-in-place was issued for nearby residences, including the Charley Canyon, Hilcrest and Wayside communities. | ABC7
