#MonOct13 — Our best chance of measurable precipitation over the next week in East Central Illinois would appear to be on Saturday, according to the latest weather model from the Global Forecast System (NOAA - attached). That having been said however, forecast rain chances can often dissipate over time. This video shows how the GFS weather model receded to the south overnight Saturday for our area significantly dropping projected totals.. Said all along that we were on the northern edge of the higher snow totals and it was a steep gradient from 10-12" to 3-4". This storm will be moving thru all day and all night so there's still a chance of a little bump north but as now, we are in the 3-6" range. | Vermilionweather.com
