It’s American Red Wolf Week! This year we commemorate the 36th anniversary of the American Red wolf’s return to the wild with a week of photos, videos, and interesting trivia about the only wolf native to the United States. The American Red wolf’s historic range is the southeastern US, and the only remaining wild wolves live in five counties of eastern North Carolina. There are currently less than 30 animals in the wild, but the pups born to F2225 and M2323 of the Miltail Pack in Alligator River
