A few weeks back, SD Fire-Rescue's Training Division hosted @chulavistafd academy 24-01 at our training facility. The ‘office’ - a helicopter and a lake! 🚁🏊🏼‍♂️ Every two years, SD Fire-Rescue river rescue and dive team lifeguards receive air operations training which prepares them for certain water rescue incidents. This year the training took place at Lower Otay Lake using a landing pad at the end of the lake. Team members jumped out of the helicopter into the lake twice.
