Starting in D major, I move through ideas from D minor to create that beautiful contrast between major and minor flavours. By borrowing chords and tones from the parallel minor, you can open up a whole new palette of sounds. Instead of sticking to one scale, try blending D Major, D Minor, D Major Pentatonic 4th, and shapes from A Major to match each chord and brin
