Jet grouting is a ground improvement technique used in construction to strengthen soils or create barriers. It involves the high-pressure injection of a cementitious grout into the ground, typically in a grid pattern, to create columns or masses of soil-cement. The process begins with the drilling of boreholes to the desired depth, after which a high-pressure jet of grout is injected into the soil, breaking it up and mixing it with the grout.
