Hi again. Here’s the third instalment of my garden show-stoppers. This time it’s Lamb’s Ears (Stachys) and Photinia (the hedge in the back). Common plants? Perhaps, but super drought and frost hardy, reliable and evergreen. The Photinia is a fast-growing and dense hedge and the low border of Lamb’s Ears keeps the weeds down and the mulch in the beds when the birds start rooting around for worms.
