A gestalt language processor learns language in chunks of words rather than one single word at a time. Gestalt means 'whole'. For example, rather than language learning of “car”, to “red car”, then eventually “It's a red car!”, they instead start by learning the phrase "It's a red car!" first then break it down into segments, before using in other contexts.
