DROP JUMPS Drop Jumps are an effective movement in the Shock Method within the Plyometric Continuum to build elastic power and resiliency. When performed correctly, the drop jumps helps to improve vertical power output by incorporating an increased eccentric stress on the body, and so improving the potential for concentric output. Here we have WSSC Athlete Crystal showing us how to correctly demonstrate a drop jump. In the first clip, we see there is prolonged ground contact time (decreased reac
