On June 6th, the world will commemorate the 77th Anniversary of D-Day. In 1984, The United States Army Field Band traveled to Europe and had the honor of performing for a number of occasions on the 40th anniversary. The Soldiers’ Chorus performed several engagements near Paris, including a performance at the American Cemetery in Suresnes, while the band spent June 6th on the beaches of Normandy.
