【平等院鳳凰堂と宇治上神社】 平等院鳳凰堂は、京都府宇治市にある世界遺産のお寺。 1052年、藤原頼通が父・道長の別荘を寺に改めて創建しました。 当時は「末法思想」＝世の中が乱れるとされていた時代。 人々は極楽往生を強く願っており、鳳凰堂は“極楽浄土の宮殿”を現世に表した建築としてつくられました。 建物全体が阿弥陀如来のいる極楽の世界を体現していて、池に映る姿も含めてその美しさが語り継がれています。 宇治上神社は、平安時代に創建され、こちらも歴史ある世界遺産です。仁徳天皇の兄、ウジノワキをお祀りしています。 私がこよなく愛する神功皇后はウジノワキの祖母なので、こちらにもお社あるかなと思ったらちゃんとありました✨ 武内宿禰は神功皇后の側近で、一緒のお社に祀られているのも嬉しかったです🥹 #平等院鳳凰堂 #宇治上神社 #宇治散歩 #京都旅行 #世界遺産めぐり #神社巡り #日本の美 #古都の風景 #japan #kyoto
