“Fusilli” also known as “Rotini” in the states. this spiral shaped pasta is iconic everywhere. For me this shape is the perfect carrier for a good “pesto”, it has so much surface area for all that oily basily goodness to coat! The name comes from the word “Fuso” meaning spindle.
