NOAA's powerful Global Forecast System model was upgraded today, providing forecasters with a more accurate 4-D picture of how a weather system will evolve. The American GFS forecast model continues to show a rather ominous outlook for what is likely to be Tropical Cyclone Eta in the coming days. For yet another run, the American GFS forecast model is suggesting a tropical cyclone will develop along the east coast and soak areas still recovering from the aftermath of Ida and Henri. Still too early to say if this will actually happen, but it is something we're keeping an eye on.
