In the biblical days, loved ones would anoint their deceased with oils and perfumes… Mary, knelt at the feet of Jesus, pouring out her expensive oil on his feet and wiping it with her hair. This act of obedience, surrender, love and servitude was rewarded by Jesus saying her story would live on and so it has.
