The WRAL Severe Weather Center is tracking a significant winter weather system that could bring ice and snow to the Triangle in the coming weekend.

Clouds will gradually go away through the day, leaving us with sunshine and 70s for daytime highs.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Frigid temperatures and incoming moisture could bring the possibility of wintry weather to South Carolina over the weekend. A strong, cold high-pressure system is expected to push southward as a low-pressure system develops offshore.

Sunny, dry, and warmer-than-normal temperatures will continue through the middle of the week. I am tracking an unsettled weather pattern that may bring us some changes later this week.
