Target has announced its New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 2026 store hours, helping shoppers plan last-minute purchases and early New Year errands.

According to Target, stores will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Locations will be closed on Christmas Day. Target closes early on Christmas Eve, but the retail chain had been offering extended shopping hours. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 23, stores were open from 7 a.m. until midnight.
