Meet Rio, the only giant panda born outside China in 3 years
Rio finally meets visitors.
Rio was born on Nov 27 last year to giant panda pair Cai Tao and Hu Chun. Both pandas arrived in the park in 2017 under a 10-year joint research programme.
The first giant panda born in Indonesia was squirming as veterinarians checked his hearing and eyesight and confirmed the furry cub was growing and healthy.
