The album recording of “Intelligence,” which premiered in 2023, is nominated for best opera recording. It’s also the first album on HGO’s own record label.

The Texas Legislature designated The Grand the state's official opera house in 1993, but it has courted performers of international stature from the beginning. The Cinema Series continues at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center with screenings of “Wicked: For Good,” on Saturday and Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m. The Tuesday night screening will be shown with captions visible on the screen.

Top performances from New York and London will be broadcast live to Palm Beach audiences beginning in January.
