The world’s first 20 MW turbine, developed and built in China, boasts of three blades that are 482 feet (147 m) long and sweep an area of 10 football fields. The turbine rotor sits about 570 feet (174 m) above water level, and construction was completed using a fourth-generation vessel with a 2,000-ton lifting capacity.
