Microsoft has officially announced a bunch of interesting and much-needed updates for the taskbar. Some of them are documented in the release notes for the latest Beta build, while others are hidden.

Windows 11 22635.3790, which was recently released in the Beta Channel, brings new hidden taskbar customization features, allowing you to switch to a shortened date and turn off the notification bell.
